Jaida’s passion is to present the beauty and richness or Raqs Sharqi (Middle-Eastern Dance - also known as “belly dance”) to a global audience, while maintaining its cultural integrity.  Having been so changed by belly dance, she now lives to give away to others the excitement, joy, and sheer thrill of this captivating art form.  Raqs Sharqi is one of the crown jewels of the Middle-East and Jaida is truly a jewel of this graceful and elegant art.

Jaida has performed for the Saudi Royal family, United Nations Arab Gala event, A Turkish diplomatic Award Ceremony, The Turkish Consulate, all of New York’s most popular Arabic Night clubs, many off-Broadway shows, as well as countless weddings, cabaret parties, restaurants, and business events.
